Fisher Guardians showcases how local fishers are stepping up as active ocean protectors. At the port, visitors will discover an innovative system of recycling containers for old and unused fishing nets, learn how these nets are collected and transformed within a circular economy, and see concrete actions that reduce marine litter and pollution while supporting a more sustainable fishing industry.

This interactive training workshop empowers stakeholders to co-develop marine biodiversity solutions, shares effective engagement methods, citizen participation strategies, and governance approaches for Living Lab implementation. We welcome leaders of Living Labs

This round table brings together key stakeholders including local authorities, marine spatial planners, regulators, academic institutions and project teams to discuss R&I permit barriers and explore possible collaborative solutions. The session will be held in English and will also be accessible online via Zoom.

The talk will walk through data collection tools and methods, and will explore different collaboration options for universities and research groups. It’s a chance to connect, ask questions, and discover real success stories, showing how MINKA is already contributing to academic and management projects.

Canary Islands teachers are invited to celebrate achievements, and plan for the future expansion of the Blue School Network across Atlantic and Arctic basins.
