This annual event serves as a pivotal gathering for Europe’s maritime community, fostering networking, discussions, and collaborative actions focused on maritime affairs and the sustainable blue economy.
Workshop Contributions
PHAROS has been diligently preparing for EMD 2025, with several workshops in the pipeline:
- Industry Collaboration Workshop: In partnership with BlueMission AA and PLOCAN, PHAROS will lead a session emphasizing collaborative efforts within the maritime industry. Gordon has successfully concluded meetings with BlueMission AA and PLOCAN, finalizing contributions from BMRS, BO, UGI, and SP, all of whom have agreed to participate in this workshop.
- Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) Interactive Session: Focusing on MPA corridors, has received the green light and promises to offer engaging discussions on marine conservation strategies.
- Joint Workshop with ProBleu on Blue Schools: PHAROS is coordinating with ProBleu to deliver a workshop dedicated to the Blue Schools initiative, aiming to enhance ocean literacy and education. We are also exploring opportunities to share booth space; interested parties are encouraged to reach out.
Exhibition Plans
The call for exhibitors is expected to open in early 2025. PHAROS plans to coordinate cost-sharing and joint materials with partners to maximize outreach and engagement during the event.
