The evaluation of participant projects in all stages of the Hackathon will be based on four core criteria:
-
Climate Impact: assesses the extent to which each idea contributes to environmental protection and climate resilience, prioritising solutions with clear and measurable benefits.
-
Financial Sustainability: examines whether the proposed solution can be economically viable and scalable over time, beyond initial funding or support.
-
The Team: focuses on the capacity, diversity, and complementarity of the team members, recognising that strong teams are critical for successful implementation.
-
Acceleration Readiness: evaluates how prepared each idea is to move from concept to execution, including feasibility, clarity of next steps, and openness to mentoring and growth.
Together, these criteria ensure that the hackathon supports ideas with lasting impact and real-world applicability.
